Maksym was the contractor for my condo, and he is amazing and very professional. I had a problem with my Toto toilet that the plumber who installed it couldn’t fix; every time I flushed, the water would run out of the toilet. No other plumbers could fix the issue either. Since Maksym usually works on big projects, I wasn’t sure if he would come for such a small issue. I decided to give it a try and texted him. He responded quickly and came the same week to check out the problem. He worked his magic once more! Maksym was friendly, professional, and knew exactly what to do. We completed a full home remodel, interior and exterior, with Makswell Construction in 2023, and highly recommend Maks and his team. Throughout planning and construction we were impressed with Maks' attention to detail and clear communications, both with us and the design team for the remodel. The project completed smoothly and on schedule, and the estimates came close to the final amounts, in some areas coming in lower than estimated. A few unexpected issues and design changes occurred during construction but Maks planned well and was able to adjust to the changes without impact to schedule. The best part though is the results - our remodeled house is beautiful. Every detail from the countertops, cabinets, tile and plumbing/electrical turned out just the way we had hoped. We did a full kitchen remodel with Maks and would highly recommend working with him. We didn't quite know what we wanted going into it, Maks was able to give us great suggestions for layout and design. His initial quote was very close to what we ended up paying, there were no big surprise costs. And we really liked how his cost structure worked, it was straightforward and honest. The job was done a week earlier than he had initially estimated. A few minor unexpected things came up during the process, and Maks was able to handle everything without worrying us at all. He contained the dust and mess within the work area, and left the work area clean every day. All of his subcontractors did great work. We definitely plan to work with Maks again if we do another remodeling project.

In our 20 years in Seattle, we’ve dealt with half a dozen contractors on large and small remodels. Max and crew have been by far the easiest to deal with. Our project this time was on the small side—a lavatory remodel, a data cabinet expansion, custom wood grilles for air intakes etc. The results showed meticulous creative craftsmanship down to all the little details that other contractors tend to miss and have to be reminded of.
